Nevada — Sierra Nevada Digital has joined the Metaverse Standards Forum as a participant organization. Today we join other organizations in a collective effort to foster the development of interoperability standards for an open and inclusive metaverse through pragmatic, action-based projects.
Sierra Nevada Digital is accompanied by other member organizations such as Meta, Google, Microsoft, Tencent, and countless others to further this goal. As a participant in the Forum, Sierra Nevada Digital seeks to contribute to the growth of a healthy Metaverse in which all may participate. To achieve this, we will continue our efforts to apply decentralized democratic solutions to existing models of governance. We expect to focus on advocacy and consultation, though we will involve ourselves in other areas where our expertise warrants contribution.
In addition to these efforts, we will inform local non-participants via summaries and analysis of Forum deliberations. Through providing synthesized information for the public to more easily digest, our goal is to further accelerate democratic engagement within the Metaverse.
